Las Vegas has something for everyone, even kids! Tripps Travel Network encourages families to visit Sin City and create some lasting memories.
- Adventuredome Theme Park – Circus Circus is the perfect place for kids of all ages. This indoor theme park, easily identifiable by its large, pink dome, stretches over five acres and is open year round. Adventuredome boasts rides designed for every age, ranging from little kids to thrilling rides and roller coasters. The park also includes fair games, arcades, miniature golf, and a 4-D movie adventure. Planning to stay all day? Save some money and purchase the all-day ride pass.
- Shark Reef – Mandalay Bay brings visitors this amazing underwater world filled with dangerous predators. This exhibit hosts 2,000 animals in 1.6 million gallons of water. Animals featured include sawfish, giant rays, endangered green sea turtles, piranha, jellyfish and the rare golden crocodile. Opportunities at the Shark Reef include the Dive with the Sharks Program, where guests and visitors can explore the Shipwreck exhibit. Animal Encounters offer guests an up close encounter with sharks, sea turtles, or sting rays. Tripps Travel Network notes that Children under 4 are free, kids 5-12 are $12 and adults are $18 making this adventure extremely affordable for families.
- Bellagio Fountains – Kids of all ages will thoroughly enjoy finding a spot on the sidewalk and watching the Bellagio Fountains. The fountains are choreographed with music that appeals to all visitors. Shows begin every half hour from 3pm to 8pm during the week and 12pm to 8pm on the weekends. The Bellagio occasionally has feature performances, and each show is different from the next, so visitors can be mesmerized over and over again. This is a perfect spot for families to take a breather and plan their next adventure.
- Volcano Eruption – Walking The Strip at night is entertainment of its own, but with a properly timed stroll, families can witness a volcano erupting. The Mirage, in their perfectly landscaped front yard, have an active volcano. Set to music from The Grateful Dead’s Mickey Hart and Indian tabla sensation ZakirHussain, the explosions, lava, and fireballs are a sight to be seen. With two shows during the week and three shows on Friday and Saturday nights, there are ample opportunities to watch this free show.
